Through his photos, wildlife photographer Jerry Schmanda attempts to express the beauty and importance of some of Algonquin Park’s most fragile ecosystems and most vulnerable animals.

Jerry has spent a great deal of time with the wildlife he photographs by guiding canoe trips in Algonquin Park for more than 25 years. Through this experience he has learned important lessons including patience, waiting for just the right moment and, of utmost importance, understanding animal behaviour.

Jerry’s photography is available matted (8 x 10 and 11 x 14), framed, on canvas and as notecards.
