This morning I’m off to meet with glass blower Chris Van Zanten. He lives just west of Ottawa so we’re meeting halfway in Barry’s Bay; I get to start my day driving through the southern tip of Algonquin Park. Woo hoo!

Chris started his formal education at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and began his hot glass exploration in Corning, N.Y.
