Olga Cooper

Olga Cooper has a magical way with encaustic – painting with wax. She pursued this medium at the Southampton Art School and also at The Hive with artist Andrea Bird. She enjoys the versatility, the wonderful texture and the gentle aroma of heated beeswax used in the creation of encaustic art.

Olga’s pieces are inspired by nature at her home in London and her cottage on Lake of Bays in Muskoka. Prior to her artistic pursuits, Olga, a graduate of the University of Windsor and Windsor Teachers’ College, had successful careers as an elementary school teacher, school Board trustee, and realtor.
