Diane Stewart, BFA, OSA, CSPWC, NOAA
Diane uses tiny pieces of fabric instead of brushstrokes to build layered mosaics that are amazing in detail and complexity. These one-of-a-kind pieces are remarkable up close as they reveal the pattern, colour and texture of the fabric.
From a distance, they look like oil paintings. Each composition is a depiction of the inspiring landscape of Northern Ontario. Diane lives in Blind River on the shore of Lake Huron where she shares studio space with her artist husband Greg Shafley.
